Warrington-based WHP Telecoms, which is backed by Equistone, is continuing its acquisition drive with the takeover of a UK counterpart that specialises in wireless design.

Founded in 2013 by Darren Fenton, Blue Clarity provides its services to operators, multi-site providers and small works contractors throughout the UK and Ireland.

It is headquartered in County Down and has a regional office in Glasgow.

The transaction provides WHP with the opportunity to in-source design and survey capabilities, further strengthening its position in the sector.

Headquartered in Warrington, WHP operates out of seven offices and has a workforce of 700. Equistone Partners Europe completed the management buyout of the group in 2018.
