Park Equity Invest wants to create a 74-apartment scheme on the site of the Wilson Patten Street office building.

Arpley House would be demolished to make way for the four-storey development but part of the existing door surround would be retained and displayed in the communal residents’ garden, according to architect Falconer Chester Hall.

The new development would make “more efficient use of the footprint” and incorporates basement car parking spaces, ground floor cycle storage and residents’ lobby, the architect added.

A planning application has been submitted and is awaiting approval by Warrington Council.
