A Warrington-headquartered car dealer has reported an increase in its operating profits in its latest financial year.
Bentleys Motor Group said it was in an "excellent position" to take advantage of a resurging market after coming through a "very challenging" 12 months during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The company operates a Toyota and Citroen site on Manchester Road. It specialises in selling new and used vehicles, as well as other motor trade activities.
For the year to 31 December 2020, the company reported turnover of £25.1m compared to £26.3m in the prior period.
Operation profits were up from £51,784 to £113,467. Gross profit for the year stood at £2.4m, compared to £2.8m in the previous year.
Bentleys Toyota site made a profit in the year of £138,070 while its Citroen base reported a loss of £174,863.
The group said the first quarter of 2021 produced a similar result to 2020, which is viewed as "successful" considering their showrooms were shut in the first few months of 2021.
