The latest stage of major plans to regenerate an area of Warrington is to be discussed.

Warrington Borough Council is seeking approval as 50 per cent shareholder of the joint venture Wire Regeneraton Ltd, to approve the disposal of the land known as Bevan Mews.

It has also recommended the council's cabinet approve Wire's appointment of Langtree Property Partners Ltd as development manager for the project, subject to suitable contract arrangements being in place.

In a report recommending the council's cabinet approve the plans, the authority said they will secure the delivery of the residential development in line with its vision for the area.
