Warrington’s University Technical College is now offering a new technical specialism to train the healthcare professionals of the future.
Now Warrington teenagers inspired by healthcare professionals working on the frontline in the global coronavirus pandemic are being offered a new career pathway, with UTC Warrington launching a new technical specialism in healthcare, backed by employers, to educate and train future health and social care workers.
Amanda Downing, Associate Principal, UTC Warrington, said: “Our new healthcare specialism is an important addition to our curriculum offer given the national surge of interest from young people in health and social care careers since the start of the pandemic, as well as the urgent need for new talent in the sector.”
