The Cheshire and Warrington Business Growth Programme (BGP) is celebrating helping its 400th business on the way to reaching its full potential.
Developing business will be a key factor in post-pandemic recovery and the BGP supports small and medium enterprises looking to grow, as well as budding entrepreneurs looking to develop their ideas into a business.
As well as helping 400 SMEs, the BGP team has supported 230 potential entrepreneurs get their ideas off the ground.
The 400th business to enjoy its fully-funded expertise is Financielle, a financial wellness company focused on helping people to take control of their money, feel financially well and build their ideal life.
The University’s BGP team is looking forward to supporting Financielle’s growth and following its journey beyond the programme. Sisters Holly Holland and Laura Pomfret, Financielle’s founders, have recently completed the programme’s Start-Up Bootcamp, supporting and collaborating with other business owners, and gaining insight from Delivery Partner Simon Calderbank from Ruby Star Associates.
