It’s remarkable that the Annual Warrington Property Review has now reached its twentieth year. It always provides an eagerly awaited, invaluable and independent analysis of Warrington’s property sector. We’ll be presenting the stats from 2017 at a ‘sell out’ event being held at The Village Hotel this coming Friday.
The collective twenty years of statistics reflect the robust and buoyant performance of Warrington through the decades. Without giving away too much in advance of the event, it has been another good year for Warrington’s property economy.
We launched the Warrington Business Exchange by Warrington & Co. in March and also co-hosted an ‘Invest in Warrington’ event with North West Business Insider magazine at Birchwood Park. Both were extremely positive with a tangible energy, pride and optimism emanating from the speakers, all of whom were representing Warrington businesses and the audience themselves.
The Business Exchange is attracting new members daily and really gathering momentum. In a nutshell, the initiative promises to be the ‘go to’ networking organisation for Warrington businesses to connect, collaborate and grow. It will be the place where businesses of all sizes and sectors, individual entrepreneurs, established business networks and trade associations can collaborate with the aim of creating a better connected, more cohesive and stronger economy in Warrington.
We have done a lot of work since the launch. Nearly all of our Sector Leads have been appointed who will drive the sector groups and we’ll be announcing who they will be along with their planned events next month.
The first Business Exchange networking event was held last week at Las Ramblas, Palmyra Square on 12 April. We had over 60 attendees and were also treated to a preview of the stunning Italian San Lorenzo sister restaurant next door which opens next week.
If you haven’t joined up to the Business Exchange yet do so soon. It’s the place to be! www.wbex.co.uk
