OFCOM is set to open a new office in Warrington town centre later this year, creating 50 jobs.
The communications regulator will move its consumer contract team and spectrum licensing departments to a new base at Centre Park later this year.
Their new office is planned to be open and fully operational by the summer.
James Thickett, the Ofcom director managing the move, said: “We’re excited about moving Ofcom’s important consumer facing teams to a fantastic office space in Warrington – jobs are being advertised and we welcome applications from local people.”
Ofcom’s consumer contact team handles around 70,000 enquiries each year, including complaints about television programmes or advice on mobile and broadband providers.
