A major international retailer has signed up for a 357,000 sq ft warehouse development at the Omega South logistics park in Warrington.
LondonMetric Property said it has agreed terms with the unnamed business on a 15-year lease with contractual uplifts.
The letting takes place within five weeks of successful completion of the development last month. The agreement is expected to become unconditional in January 2017.
In November 2015, LondonMetric Property and Omega Warrington signed a £30m deal to forward-fund the logistics warehouse in Omega South. This followed LondonMetric’s £47.5m funding of the Hut Group’s 690,000 sq ft warehouse on Omega South in 2014.
Omega Warrington is a joint venture between Miller Developments and KUC Properties, in partnership with landowner the Homes and Communities Agency and supported by Warrington Borough Council and the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.
