Trucks and trailer group Eddie Stobart has revealed plans for a new £75m warehouse.

The facility, which would be at its current HQ in Warrington, will create 480 permanent jobs and support a further 250 off site, all within close reach of job hunters in Greater Manchester.

Developer Liberty Properties have lodged the scheme with Warrington Borough Council on behalf of Eddie Stobart’s Logistics division.

If approved by the council’s planning committee, the 630,000sqft building at Stretton Green Distribution Park could add £18m to the region’s economy.
