Turnover has risen at Morris & Spottiswood, with underlying profitability also improving.
For the year to 31 December 2018, the Warrington-based construction specialist reported a 2 per increase in sales to £82.4m.
Underlying profitability was up by 13 per cent to £2.6m.
Chief executive Jon Dunwell noted that Morris & Spottiswood’s continued success was “particularly impressive when measured against a backdrop of continuing uncertainty and volatility in the marketplace”.
He added that the company sees the most growth potential in England driven by its Leeds and Warrington offices, noting that there will be a focus on winning work in the Northern Powerhouse.
