A Warrington-headquartered manufacturer and distributor of hydrogen peroxide has been boosted by a rise in both sales and profits on the back of making progress in developing its business in new areas.
Solvay Interox is part of the Solvay Group, an advanced materials and specialty chemicals business developing products designed to address mobility.
It employs a workforce of about 90.
For the year to 31 December 2017, the company reported revenue of £28.4m compared to £24.5m the prior period. This was attributed to Solvay making progress in “developing its business in new areas”.
Pre-tax profits were also up from £3.25m to £8m as fixed costs were reduced following a restructuring programme.
