A Warrington-headquartered software services specialist has built a “backlog of revenue”, its chief executive has told Insider, on the back of a successful year during which both profits and income were up.
MDS Global works with communication providers in the telecoms industry, supplying cloud services to clients including O2, BT and Vodafone.
Based at The Point, it also has operations in Limerick and employs a workforce of about 220 staff.
For the year to 31 December 2017, MDS Global reported turnover of £23.9m compared to £21.9m the prior year. Of this total, £21.2m came from the UK, £2.4m from Europe and £253,000 from the rest of the world.
Pre-tax profits were also up from £368,000 to £500,000.
