Greenalls Gin owner toasts rising sales as turnover tops £90m

The independent spirits producer that owns Greenall’s Gin, Feeney’s Irish Cream Liqueur and the Dubliners Irish Whiskey has driven turnover past the £90m mark helped by strong growth in UK sales.
Turnover has climbed by 14 per cent to £92.2m for the year ending 31 March 2017, according to newly filed accounts for Quintessential Brands UK Holdings. Turnover increased by 28 per cent to £34.4m in the UK and rose by 7 per cent to £57.7m internationally.
Pre-tax profits jumped by 177 per cent to £462,000 over the same period.
In their report accompanying the accounts, the directors said: “Turnover increased to £92.2m (2016: £80.9m) driven by volume growth in both the group’s branded spirits portfolio and private-label supply contracts.
