Eddie Stobart is readying for further growth after increasing underlying revenues by almost £75m.
The Warrington-based logistics giant increased underlying revenue for the year to 30 November 2017 from £549m to £623.9m.
EBIT also rose from £41.3m to £48.5m, with adjusted pre-tax profits increasing from £24m to £37.8m.
Chairman Philip Swatman noted that the company performed strongly in 2017, achieving benefitting from significant growth and new contract wins. He expects this trend to continue across the current financial year, saying that it had “started well and in line with the board’s expectations”.
