A Warrington-headquartered interior design and fit-out business has returned to profit and is sitting on a strong order book.
Claremont Group Interiors has worked on projects for the likes of Shoosmiths, Auto Trader, McDonalds, Liverpool FC, United Utilities and Coca Cola. It employs a workforce of about 95.
For the year to 31 July 2019, the company reported turnover of £27.4m compared to £32.2m the prior period.
A pre-tax profit of £410,262 was made against a loss of £932,085 the year before.
The dip in turnover was planned as Claremont’s focus on “quality projects where we could add value improved profitability against the previous year” led to improved results elsewhere.
Work was completed for Mills and Reeve, White Young Green, Womble Bond Dickinson and Taylor Wimpey.
The year-end order book stood at £19.4m, which includes an allowance of £10m for a major project for Paddy Power Betfair in Dublin.
