A Warrington-headquartered multi-disciplinary business is on track for a swift return to profitability after slipping to a loss during what was a challenging year.
Cruden Group oversees its subsidiaries Cruden Construction and Cruden Property Services. It operates as a constructor, maintenance provider, green energy installer and developer, employing a workforce of about 205.
For the year to 30 September 2017, Cruden Group Ltd reported turnover of £45.95m compared to £45.3m from continuing operations and £47.6m overall the previous year.
It also slipped into the red with a pre-tax loss of £308,635 having made a pre-tax profit of £1.33m from continuing operations and £590,615 overall in 2017.
Cruden Construction brought in revenues of £32.6m and made an operating loss of £1.8m, while Cruden Property Services reported sales of £13.3m and an operating loss of £1.61m.
