Construction Partnership UK has been appointed to construct the first part of Warrington’s £107m Bridge Street Regeneration Project.
CPUK will begin construction of the 25,500sq ft structural retail shell and its mezzanine floor in January 2016.
The retail structure will be the first element of the Bridge Street Quarter Regeneration Scheme to be built and following its completion will become a temporary market hall on the site of what is currently Time Square.
Planning approval for the temporary market was granted recently.
At no time will the market cease to trade. The new market building will open in 2019. The temporary market shell will then be converted into future retail use.
