An expanded programme at MIPIM will highlight the extent of Cheshire and Warrington’s “outstanding economy” as the region returns to the gala property event next week.
It is only the second time the region has exhibited at MIPIM and is being led by Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), alongside Cheshire West and Chester Council, Cheshire East Council and Warrington Borough Council, with 31 private sector supporters.
Philip Cox, chief executive of Cheshire and Warrington LEP, said the region’s “outstanding economy” was the second fastest growing in the UK.
“The depth and the breadth of opportunity in Cheshire in Warrington is truly outstanding and underscored by world leading businesses, science and technology parks facilities and assets,” said Cox. “Over the next decade, collectively, we can make our economy extraordinary and cement its importance in rebalancing the UK economy.”
Events include the “Energy Cheshire” breakfast and the “Constellation Partnership – from vision to action: Accelerating good growth at the heart of the UK” on the first day of the festival.
Other highlights from the week are the Cheshire and Warrington Investor Forum and “Chester Northgate – History in the Making” on the Wednesday, and the sold out Cheshire and Warrington Beach Lunch at La Mandala for “Outstanding Places: the importance of quality of place in driving economic growth”.
Opportunities to be part of Growth in Warrington will also be discussed on Wednesday as will an event highlighting how Alderley Park stands out from the crowd.
