The Cheshire & Warrington Team Games – a great opportunity for businesses to network, get active and fundraise.
Sunday 5th June 2016, Chester Racecourse.
This June sees the inaugural Cheshire & Warrington Team Games for businesses take place at Chester Racecourse.
This is no ordinary team games event, this is an Active Cheshire event, a one day festival of fun and physical activity with games, activities and entertainment for all. There’s the Urban Attack assault course race for those with a competitive edge (and a certain level of fitness!), there’s Zorb football where you get to bounce off one another while trying to kick a ball, Cheshire’s equivalent of The Hunger Games with the US import Archery Tag, all the fun of the 80s with the Knockout Challenge and, to take you right back to your school days, a Retro School Sports Day.
Aside from the team games there’ll be activities and sports for you to try, a stage featuring live entertainment, and local craft and food producers promoting their wares.
Organisations can enter teams into each of the games where they’ll take part in that games competition with a winner crowned at the end of the day. Teams will take part in a certain number of games and will have time between games to enjoy the rest of the attractions at the event.
The Cheshire & Warrington Team Games is a great opportunity for employees/members to come together and work as a team, to have a great day out and get physically active in the process.
Find out more about each of the games and Active Cheshire at www.theteamgames.org where you can also book your teams place at the event.
Profits from The Team Games will contribute towards the continued work that Active Cheshire commissions in the local community to improve individual’s health and wellbeing and promote community cohesion through physical activity, and to drive the growth of participation in sport.
