Around 350 new jobs will be created after Bilfinger won two new contracts worth £350m for a new nuclear power station.
The industrial engineering company will provide design, supplier management, procurement, pipework fabrication and construction works for the new Hinkley Point C nuclear power station.
The jobs will include specialist roles in engineering and manufacturing at its UK locations at Warrington, Humberside, Bristol and Somerset.
The work will be delivered through Bilfinger’s Technologies and Engineering & Maintenance Europe arm with UK bases in Warrington and Bristol, whilst manufacturing of specialist pipework will take place at an upgraded factory in the North East.
Warrington-based Bilfinger UK is one of more than 380 Hinckley Point C suppliers based in the North West, Yorkshire and Humberside.
