Transforming the riverfront

In 2014, Warrington Borough Council and Langtree formed a joint venture company called Wire Regeneration to help facilitate development at Warrington's Southern Gateway. This gateway encompasses the area along the River Mersey and Wilderspool Causeway. Up until recently, this land has mostly been inaccessible to development. However, thanks to the Centre Park Link project, this issue has been overcome.

Enabled and assisted by Warrington & Co, Wire Regeneration has exciting plans to remodel this part of the riverfront. Together with 1300 homes, this project will also deliver attractive commercial properties - reconstructing and transforming this previously underdeveloped part of the town.
