Linking: Training

Training is a way of improving the effectiveness of your current workforce, but they are also attractive benefits for ambitious people.

Linking Business Training

 


Create a more skilled & flexible workforce – for FREE

The Employer Skills Fund aims to engage employed and self-employed adults aged 19+ in education and training up to Level 2 to enhance their skills.

Training and Development can be customised to meet the need of individual companies and could include, for example:

+ Bookkeeping & Accounting

+ Customer Service

+ Engineering

+ IT/ECDL

+ Management & Team Leading

Who is eligible?

+ Halton-based businesses with less than 250 employees

+ Warrington-based businesses with less 250 employees can access similar support via Skills Support for the Workforce

+ Further eligibility criteria apply


Improve Maths and English skills

Employees with better Maths and English skills improve business productivity:

+ Less mistakes and more accuracy, quality and speed

+ More effective communication

+ Increased motivation as you invest in staff development

+ Improved staff confidence

Who is eligible?

+ Employees aged 19 and above with a contract of over 8 hours per week

+ Employed in a business based in the North West (except Merseyside)

+ Employees with no formal qualifications in Maths or English or are assessed as not currently at Level 2 (GCSE Grade C)

If you employ less than 250 staff you may also qualify for an incentive of £800 per employee, up to 3 employees


Mandatory Training

We can also source training/support in a range of other business critical areas, including:

+ First Aid

+ Health & Safety

+ Food Hygiene

+ CSCS

+ Business Improvement Standards i.e. ISO 9001, Environmental Standards etc.
