A Birchwood-based eCommerce digital monetisation platform company is celebrating after signing a deal with the third-largest publisher in the US.
MPP Global recently signed a contract to provide its eSuite platform to McClatchy, America’s third-largest publisher, which operates 31 newspaper titles, such as the Miami Herald and The Kansas City Star, in 29 states.
Founded in 2000, MPP Global has also grown to include six offices in five different countries, having opened in New York, Japan, Australia and South Africa.
This international growth and success came following support from the Department for International Trade (DIT) North West, including providing financial assistance to help MPP Global attend international conferences, such as the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) conference in Las Vegas, and trade missions to New York and Philadelphia.
Karen Holden, MPP Global’s international trade adviser at DIT North West, put MPP Global in touch with legal experts, signposted the company to reputable recruiters, and liaised with the British Consulate General on MPP Global’s behalf to organise an event at the British Consulate General’s private residence in New York.
