Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) will be holding a new series of LEP Talks for 2020/21. The aim of the talks is to learn more about the key challenges that businesses are dealing with on a daily basis and share practical ways of tackling the challenges.
The first event of the series which will focus on attracting great talent into your business and retaining highly skilled people. This will take place at the Village Hotel, Warrington, on Tuesday 24th March from 08:30 – 11:00
Across all sectors of industry, from large global firms to scale-ups or small businesses, business leaders consistently cite talent as the greatest challenge facing their companies. Whether that means attracting experienced people; upskilling or reskilling your existing workforce; or apprentices and graduate recruitment. You may find it difficult to recruit people with the right skills to grow your business. Our panel will share their expertise and offer solutions as to how to attract the best talent and retain the best talent in your business.
This will be an opportunity to join a lively morning of discussion and debate, whilst taking away ideas and tips to support your own talent development approach. The panel will consist of 3 speakers from small to medium and large sized businesses and a speaker each from academia and business support.
