A new car parts distribution centre is set to open in Warrington, creating 35 new jobs, following completion of a project by Russells Construction.

The TrustFirstParts facility is owned and operated by Ford Retail, the dedicated Ford dealer group.

The new development will play an integral part in the further growth of the TrustFirstParts division, which saw strong revenue growth in 2014.

The new business is an investment by Ford Retail of more than £900,000 and the distribution centre will be the biggest centre the business operates outside London.

It will hold more than £2m of parts stock, equivalent to around 25,000 different product lines and provide a daily delivery service to Ford dealers and the independent motor trade in the North West area with a fleet of upwards of 25 Ford Transit vans.

The 37,000sq ft facility is a former warehouse which was renovated and extended by the Manchester-based main contractor.
