The Department for International Trade (DIT) NW International Trade Team are hosting a trade mission to Dublin in September for SME’s in the region involved in the food & drink sector.
The mission will allow businesses to attend a conference and exhibit at the Food & Drink Expo Europe – the largest exhibition of its kind in Ireland – on 5th September 2018. This would be of interest to businesses involved in suppliers of packaging, food processing equipment, or labelling for example, as well as food and drink manufacturers.
DIT North West are paying for:
- Pre-mission workshop (half-day) which will provide a market overview from British Embassy in Dublin and a session with a F&D sector specialist on how to approach the market, exhibition tips, etc.
- Exhibition Space for up to 20 companies (under a large DIT NW stand) – including all publicity, entry into the exhibition catalogue etc.
- Opportunities for 1-2-1 meetings with F&D sector specialist in Ireland
- Post-mission workshop (half-day) to help companies to progress any enquiries / next steps.
The only cost to the company is the flights over (currently £32 return with Ryanair), or if they choose to come the evening before, the cost of hotel accommodation – and we have negotiated really good rates at a neighbouring hotel.
